This opportunity will only be available to the candidates who can travel to Bangalore. This would be an unpaid internship with a chance for full-time employment and a Letter of Internship completion will be given to the candidates.

Based in Brisbane, Australia, Officiating Collective is an organisation that provides support, education, training and professional development for all sports officials at various stages of their development pathway.
With more that 45 years combined experience in the development and support of sports officials, Ash Synnott (Previously Snr Sports Adviser, Australian Sports Commission and Australian Institute of Sport) and Steve Clark (25+ years at the National Rugby League) have brought a ‘collective’ of specialists including Simon Taufel (Ex ICC Umpire), Dr Michael Lloyd (Cricket Australia), and Clair Polosak (Cricket Australia) to write and deliver education sessions for developing sports officials. Officiating Collective currently have 19 specialists providing content for Community to Elite officials and currently has 95+ resources available on their website.
The course (live classes) starts from 18th October 2021 and ends on November 3rd 2021. The mentorship would end on May 3rd 2022.

To become an umpire in India, you just need to be 18+ years of age, fit and have sound knowledge of the ‘laws of cricket’. One can be a professional full-time or a part-time umpire. For that, you need to clear the umpiring exams and get certified by any State Cricket Association or BCCI or ICC to officiate matches conducted by the respective bodies. Other than that, one can also officiate matches in private/corporate local leagues.
After the course, you will get a confirmed internship with one of the biggest cricket academies in India located in Bangalore. You will get the practical experience of officiating matches and even a chance to make it a full-time job. We will also help you prepare for umpiring exams by State Cricket Associations, BCCI and also Cricket South Africa (CSA). Moreover, you will provided by any information regarding local leagues/matches happening near your place.
It is an umpiring exam conducted by Cricket South Africa (CSA) every year to recruit umpires. It is conducted online as well, so, anyone who hits the minimum eligibility criteria can take this exam. In this year’s edition of the exam, out of the 62 people who cleared it globally, 28 were CoLLearners. Moreover, 2 of our students actually topped the merit list!
